Dynamic Light Scattering measures the size distribution of particles in solution with diameters ranging from 1 nanometre to 1 micron. The sliver nanoparticles have components at ~ 2.2 nm and ~ 80 nm. The larger radius peak represents 28% of the total scattered light, but only ~0.05% of the total mass (Copyright NPL).
