Description:
Optical profilometry reveals the nanoscale polish on the ceramic cup of a total hip replacement system. CEMMNT metrology techniques can be used to characterise all parts of a total hip replacement system. Examples include: roundness of the femoral head, roundness of the femoral stem, contamination and wear effects.
