.What information do we collect?
If you are a user with general public and anonymous access, CEMMNT does not store or capture personal information, but merely logs the user's IP address that is automatically recognised by the web server. Information is collected from visitors to our website who wish to register for access to further secure areas of the site. These data are held within CEMMNT only, unless express permission has been given to provide such details on the CEMMNT ‘Metrology Database’ that is made available to registered users only.
Purpose for which information is collected
Information is collected solely for the following purpose. Where agreement is given, details added to the CEMMNT database may be used to distribute information on relevant events and activities in the field of micro-nano measurement and characterisation.
Contacting Us
You can ask for information or request services in 5 ways: by requests and questions sent by online forms, e-mail, phone, post or in person. You can make comments and give us your feedback in the same way. If you send an e-mail or complete a form on the website asking for information or a service, or send a comment that requires a response, it will be passed to the appropriate person who will respond to you. We do not pass on your details to any third party unless you give us permission or CEMMNT is legally obliged to do so. After we have replied to you, we will keep a record of your message for at least 6 years.
