QinetiQ is one of the world’s leading global defence technology and security companies. The QinetiQ Advanced Analytics and MicroSystems group based in Malvern is a CEMMNT core partner. The microsystems team is the largest in the UK, comprising 40 scientists and engineers with a substantial asset base including silicon clean room processing facilities and extensive measurement and characterisation equipment. A comprehensive range of techniques for the analysis of materials and devices is combined with unrivalled problem solving expertise spanning electronic, optical, optoelectronic and photonic materials, processes and devices, as well as metals, surface coatings, ceramics, polymers, biomaterials, nanomaterials and environmental analysis.
