CEMMNT is hosting a joint meeting of its two advisory boards in July to discuss the present and future of metrology and characterisation at the micro and nano scale.

 

The CEMMNT Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) comprises known experts in metrology as well as key strategists and policy makers from across industrial sectors, governing bodies, and associations, including large enterprises, SME’s and representatives from regional and national authorities. The IAB provides guidance, expertise, and authority in the context of measurement and characterisation, and systems engineering of MNT products and applications and advises the CEMMNT Board on the medium and long term strategy for CEMMNT.

 

The CEMMNT Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) includes academic and scientific members from leading institutions involved in measurement and characterisation at micro and nano scale. The SAB indentifies future innovations and trends in Micro and Nano Technology (measurement and measureands), considering technical advances and new science applications relevant to CEMMNT, including current research, conferences, and published papers in the field of MNT metrology.

 

This first joint meeting of the two advisory boards will focus on the outcomes of the recent NEXUS sponsored EU Metrology Experts Workshop report and debate this in the context of the UK Metrology Roadmap.
